Tara Gilbert

Tara has been serving children and families at Waves since January 2024. Originally from McMinnville, TN, Tara has always been passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Supporting children and families is especially meaningful to Tara because she believes strong support systems help children thrive and empower families to overcome challenges. She enjoys building relationships, providing encouragement, and connecting families with the resources they need to be successful. Knowing that her work contributes to the growth and well-being of children and their families is what motivates her each day.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her two beautiful grandchildren. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those she supports.
