Our Residential Service programs empower adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to lead fulfilling lives while fostering independence and community inclusion. Through a person-centered approach, we provide comprehensive support tailored to each person’s unique needs, goals, and aspirations.
Each Residential program is structured to help participants develop social connections, build relationships, and fully engage with their community. By promoting self-determination and autonomy, we aim to enhance an individual’s sense of identity, purpose, and overall well-being. Residential Services Include:
Supported Living Services: In our Supported Living program, individuals reside in affordable, community-integrated housing while receiving personalized assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household management. Our experienced staff work closely with residents to ensure they have the guidance and training to reach their fullest potential while enjoying all that their community has to offer. This program can serve as a first step to independent living.
Semi-Independent Services: In our Semi-Independent Living program, individuals reside in their own accommodations while receiving the necessary guidance and skill-building support to maintain and further their independence. Individuals in this program receive supports as needed that are tailored to lower the individual’s unique barriers to full independence. Supports are often provided in the areas of money management, employment, health and wellness, and transportation. In addition to necessary direct support services, individuals have access to 24/7 on-call support.
Respite: Respite Services are offered in Waves Supported Living homes and are intended to provide much-needed relief and support for both the individual receiving services and their caregivers. The program is designed to offer short-term supported living services in a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. Our experienced staff are dedicated to providing person-centered training to increase independent living skills, direct support with ADLs as needed, and facilitation of social interactions and community participation.
