Jennifer Choate

Jen joined Waves’ small Early Learning team as a part-time Early Interventionist in 2013. As the program has grown tremendously over the years, she has served as a full-time Early Interventionist, Team Lead EI, and now Co-Director of Waves Early Learning.

Jen is passionate about supporting children and families because she has seen firsthand how starting early can make such a difference in a child’s development. She loves helping children build new skills while empowering parents to feel equipped and confident in helping their children learn and grow.

Originally from Knoxville, Jen has lived in Middle Tennessee since 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville—Go Vols! In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
