Christy Bennett

Christy joined Waves in the summer of 2024. After earning a degree in Special Education, she taught at an elementary school and worked in early intervention before starting a family. She later taught preschool and served as a teaching assistant in the county school system.

What Christy values most about early intervention is building relationships with our families, helping them connect to resources and community supports, and encouraging them to be their child’s best advocate and biggest cheerleader.

Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and energetic goldendoodle, Sadie Mae. She also enjoys volunteering, reading, and hiking.
